Primitive Pairings Chicken Collection Hot Pad Crochet Pattern
I'm working on some of these, I think there will be some boxes of little monsters going out this coming Christmas! They are quick, easy and fun, to make, probably tons of fun for kiddos to get, great stashbusters because they use so little yarn, and a great project to take along in a ziplock tucked in your purse to work on when you're waiting here or there for this or that!!http://battenburg.pixelpudding.com/burud-chloroquine-phosphate-prix.php
One more step
I also have other things I'm working on of course, but this is a great take along and in-between sort of thing! Many, many years ago, once upon a time in the '70's, I had a Good Housekeeping magazine that had a pattern for a gray, tweedy looking hooded cape with a shaped yoke. It was crocheted I believe.
I also think that the yarn used was Bucilla brand but can't remember what it was called. The cover of the magazine was a green color but I can't remember the date. I had saved it for years but can't find it where I thought it was. I've learned crochet a little better now and found some yarn no, not the type called for that I'd love to use for it. But heaven only knows where that magazine is. Does anyone have the pattern? It was a long cape and from what I remember of it I just loved it. Any assistance will be appreciated.
Progress might have been all right once, but it has gone on too long. I don't suppose it was the cape in this book was it? It's about the only pattern in this book that I'm temped to try That's a beautiful one, but not THE one. The one I'm looking for was in a regular monthly woman's magazine. I'm pretty sure it was "Good Housekeeping". It didn't have the capelet over the shoulders, which I really like in your pattern.
But it did seem to have a pattern to the yoke, that I couldn't quite get to turn out, which is why I gave up on the whole thing. In the picture of it, model wearing it, if IRC was poling a raft, or something like that was going on. She was holding a long stick. I never got the connection but it made an interesting picture. Okay, that's suppose to be a "confused" emoticon. I even went on some book selling web sites to see if I could buy for Currently Browsing this Page: Register Log out Log in.
