It is comprehensive and accurate, but most people today will not relate well to it. It was designed to go into press packets for journalists who love facts, figures and statistics. If you or your friend are into philosophy and theology, then this is a great book. Otherwise, save it for later. Just keep in mind that it was written as a college text book. Not everyone will want this type of writing or level of detail. Most people will not want to read an encyclopedia to learn about their relationship with God.
