There's a Spaceship in My Tree!: Episode I by Robert West
Published by ZonderKidz this book is Christian themed but pretty weak on the Christian front. Beamer does recognize someone's special gift as being from God and also informs Ghoulie and Scilla that they can't treat others like Jared and his gang are treating them.
The ending of this book is VERY funny! With all that said, would I recommend this book. It is a great storyline and I have noticed that the name calling lessens in Book 2. Just don't expect an overtly Christian book, just a good, clean book with fantasy and reality all mixed together. Fans of Star Wars and Star Trek will especially love it. I purchased this book for my Kindle I was not required to write a review but chose to do so.

In fact, they're strange--including the spaceship-shaped treehouse. West adds a new twist to Christian Sci-fi that I hadn't seen much, if at all. It's a fun middle-grade page-turner that I think both boys and girls will enjoy. Book arrived on time and in good condition, it was used for my son's summer reading assignment and he enjoyed the story very much, thank you!
I thought this book was funny. It was cute and funny, it made me laugh.
