La canción del ángel (Spanish Edition)
So when God starts to reveal himself to Anne will she listen, can she open up her heart and accept Gods love? Will she finally find something to believe in? This is an amazing book. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. The picture the author paints with this story is amazing. The message of God's wondrous love is a story I never tire of reading. Even though I was provided a copy of this book by Thomas Nelson Publishing in no way does that alter my opinion of this wonderful book. Sep 19, Vernie rated it liked it.
On the first few chapters we get to know Ann Fletcher , a sleek cosmopolitan woman from New York who had a successful career whose life suddenly turns out upside down with a tragic event and as she struggle to cope with a sudden death she was comforted with strangers who seem to lover her sister Sarah, in on which you will get to know briefly in the first few pages how different these two sisters are in terms of character.
This story is inspiring and for those who is fascinated with Angels such as myself however, it can be also predictable but you can still appreciate the simplicity and hope this novel wants to convey. The other characters in the book are great too. Tammy and her son, Keith are the type of neighbors that are going to help you whether you want it or not. Keith has Down Syndrome and the special ability to see angels all around.
They rely on their faith to help them get through to Anne. The story line was great. It was well written and fast moving. I found myself tearing up from time to time as well. Angel (Jon Secada song)
Celebration quickly turns to tragedy when Sarah is killed in a car accident. While riding to the hospital Sarah was humming a song that continued to haunt Ann long after Sarah is gone. She hears the song everywhere. Ann is surrounded by helpful neighbors including Keith, a boy with Down Syndrome and Ethan, a carpenter.
As Ann begins her new life without her sister, it is her new friendships that help her to see that there is a loving God who can help her heal. Angel Song is a book with a unique premise that appealed to me right away. This story starts out strong and holds a good pace throughout. This is a nice, relaxing story with a positive and uplifting message of hope and healing.
I really enjoyed the writing team of Sheila Walsh and Kathryn Cushman. One could say that Angel Song is a bit predictable, but I would say that it did not disappoint me.

It ended the way I had hoped and the story was just what I was expecting. I am very pleased and delighted with this book and recommend it for anyone looking for a nice story. Sep 10, Lisa rated it really liked it Shelves: I gave the book 4 stars because the song of Angels is such a beautiful gripping experience and it was awesome to read a book about people experiencing such a thing.
I didnt give this book 5 stars because I got really tired of the whole interior decorator perspective. I feel like half the volume of the book was about her job and I didnt care what her job was. She found out her mother had another daughter and later the daughter came to live with the grandmother too.
Annie moved away to New York to start her life. She did not come home very often. Her grandmother had died a few years back and she came back for her sisters graduation from graduate school. Annie was at a loss to understand why bad things happen to good people. Her grandmother and sister believed in God, so how come she was the one to live and they died? She kept going back and forth between her life in New York and her other life in Charleston.
In the end she finally got it right and learned to stop running and start getting over her past and living. It was a good book and I will look for more from this author. Awesome that one of the homeless men that she helped turned out to be an angel and the neighbor boy drew the picture about it. Aug 11, Kat rated it really liked it. It was sad and i pitied many in the beginning of the book, although it was boring and as you enter farther into the book you find that it gets little more interesting, If your a female such as myself you will probably get excited for a couple that is a burnin' ; i got really pissed when they said they would only be friends and then i finished it!
So i liked the ending alot but once they admitted they only wanted to be friends i actually thought they meant it! Soo, Yeah i do think you should read it! Its a sweet story, but very predictable, it sends a very well known message. Jan 21, Paula-O rated it it was amazing. Anne Fletcher has returned to Charleston for her younger sisters graduation when a terrible accident happens as the girls are together. Sarah says just before she dies, Help-anne-Help Anne's life is in the city and when she is back into the very laid back Charleston and meeting the neighbors of Sarah -life is so confusing for awhile. Death creates a time of questionable thoughts that needs to be gone through yet life around you keeps going on and confusion is a big part of the days to come.
Do you believe in Angels? Dec 28, Janet rated it really liked it. This book made me smile. I enjoyed it very much. It started out a little sad when Sarah dies right before she is going to graduate with her masters degree in social work this is what my daughter will be doing in a few short months so maybe it hit me harder than some but the growth of Ann ie throughout this book is great.
I especially like Keith and the huge role he played in this book. It shows that children with Downs Syndrome are amazing children just like every child that God created is.

I This book made me smile. I loved Ethan and how true he was to God and his beliefs. I know there are only a few short pages for a story to be told in a book but sometimes the quickness of people falling in love throws me for a loop because I don't see life like that. Aug 11, Carman rated it really liked it. I definitely loved the subject in this book. It really made me think and want to do a little more reading about angels and their roles in our lives.
I think that is b I definitely loved the subject in this book. I think that is because the main focus of the book is Ann and her coming to terms with her past, more than on the romance between her and Ethan. However, the writing is good and I would recommend it to someone who favors this type of book. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.
